The Process
The idea came from a familiar freelancer problem: the paperwork around a project takes longer than it should. Writing proposals from scratch, chasing signatures and following up on unpaid invoices drains time that should go into actual client work. ShareAll was built to turn that whole flow into a few minutes.
The workflow starts with context. The freelancer describes the client and the job, and ShareAll suggests the documents that job needs. A library of 50 editable templates covers proposals, scopes, contracts, NDAs and invoices across design, development, video, writing, marketing, photography and consulting, with writing tips alongside every section.
Sharing was designed around trust and control. Every document goes out as one link that can be password-protected, set to expire in 7 or 30 days, or revoked at any time. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, and eight wrong attempts lock the link for 15 minutes. Clients can accept, request changes or decline directly from the shared page, without creating an account.
Signing had to be tamper-evident. Once a document is e-signed it is locked, and a SHA-256 hash of the signed version records its exact state. Any later edit starts a new draft, and every save is versioned, so there is always a clear history. Documents can also be exported to Word or saved as PDF.
For invoicing, numbers run in a series per Indian financial year (April to March) and are never reused, which keeps records clean for GST and accounting. A home dashboard tracks opens and ranks what needs attention, such as an unopened proposal or a late invoice. Row-level security on every table keeps each user's data isolated, and subscriptions and tax are handled through Dodo Payments.
